We are in love with the place! The apartment is so lovely and mellow. The sun is shining and we had a comfortable sleep in the amazing bed last night! Great start to the day. Think we might do the Hardcastle Crags today and explore the town later.

Fabulous Apartment, great location! My partner and i enjoyed a week at the end of May , we were delighted with the apartment it is more spacious than it appears on the photos and is incredibly well equipped , very warm and welcoming and delightfully furnished . We were surprised to discover that there was a second TV / DVD player etc in the bedroom which was a bonus and quite unexpected in a one bedroomed apartment. I enjoyed the vast variety of interesting books in the lounge .. and the quirkiness of No 1 immensely . With off road parking, wifi and all the home comforts, so centrally located it made the perfect base for exploring the area, interesting local shops, great restaurants and cafes , a well stocked supermarket a 2 minute stroll away , canal walks .. bike hire .. narrowboat hire ..so much to see and do in the surrounding area we will definitely be back very soon !

We absolutely loved this fantastic apartment! It's stylish while being homely, comfy and with all the mod cons. It's in a great location seconds walk from the shops and cafes of Hebden Bridge which is a lovely town with lots to explore and see. I can't recommend it enough and would love to go back again soon!

Response from you: Ellen thanks so much - reviews like yours make it all worthwhile, I am really glad you had such a good stay, and thanks for the feedback. I am amazed no one has pinched that Dalek yet, who'd have thought the risk of being "exterminated" would make such a great welcome :-) Thanks again and do come back, Nick

Other Feedback:
Hi Nick, Just to say how much we loved staying in your fantastic apartment! It's absolutely gorgeous and felt like the stylish home we both wished we had while being relaxing and super comfy at the same time. We loved it from the second we saw the Dalek on the doorstep onwards!!

Just a quick line to say “Thank You” once again for our stay at No 1.  We had a lovely stay, visiting the crags and we also went to Ogden Water and Skipton. We had some visitors and ate out at the Olive Branch and La Perla both of which we love and have visited previously. We would like to book again [dates omitted] for next year

This accommodation is perfect. A lovely flat in the centre of town. Very clean, comfortable, lots of space, decorated beautifully. Everything you could possibly need is available including lots of tourist information and films to watch. There is a supermarket over the road and easy access to pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Just wanted to say thanks for the most perfect week at No 1, am totally in love with Hebden Bridge all over again ..... am gutted that tonight is my last night, have had the most amazing week, the weather has been ok too, no rain and even sunny on a couple of days, have bought lot's of lovely christmas presents, there's some really unusual shops. as you already know so lot's of brownie points for me !!!! I wanted to ask whether you do any long weekend breaks here, say Friday and stay 3 or 4 nights (assuming you have no one booked in ?) I'd be really interested in doing that a couple of times a year as well as longer breaks.

I shall leave the Mill as I found it, all clean and tidy, but it will a very reluctant departure in the morning, I could easily stay another couple of nights.......

Thanks Ali, sounds like you had a great week. We do 3 and 4 day breaks, and offer a discount for regulars or bookings of more than one week / mid-week breaks made at the same time, and would love to have you return, all the best, Nick

No 1 is absolutely beautiful - we had such a relaxing, luxurious stay. The apartment has everything you could need and is so homely and cosy. Contact with Nick was easy and fast throughout. Hebden Bridge itself is gorgeous - so many lovely little shops and cafes. We went for a lovely walk up to Hardcastle Craggs and went out to Heptonstall too. We will definitely be back and couldn't recommend it enough!

Thanks Sophie for this lovely review of No1 The Mill, a home from home in Hebden Bridge. It sounds like you had a great time, we'd love to have you back, and are thrilled with your comments, all the best, Nick

We spent a wonderful few days at No1 (So Hebden Bridge!). This is an extremely comfortable and practical apartment, very suitable as a romantic getaway (we were celebrating our wedding anniversary). Hebden Bridge is definitely our sort of place, good independent shops and spoilt for choice as to where to eat out -we would recommend the Olive Branch - delicious Turkish cuisine. The Picture House is well worth a visit (nice to have a cinema with decent leg-room), the railway station is a gem and with a very good train service to both Leeds and Manchester. Excellent walking country (as long as you like hills), Heptonstall is lovely and Hardcastle Crags not to be missed. We will be back...

What a lovely place No.1 The Mill is! We had a fantastic time in Hebden Bridge and the surrounding countryside - and the highlight was definitely having this place to call home during our long weekend away. The duplex apartment was fully equipped, very comfortable (the bed was lush) and the location was perfect. Hebden Bridge is a cute town with lots of history. Lovely walks through the town centre as well as the canal, plenty of places to eat and drink and very accessible to either the Yorkshire Dales or Peak District. Highly recommended!

Thank you for this lovely review, of No1 of course but also this lovely area, you offer some great tips for other visitors! Nick

Just wanted to say that we had a lovely break in Hebden and really enjoyed staying at No1.  If we go back to Hebden, we would definitely want to stay at your place again.

We wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay in Hebden Bridge and also how we loved The Mill. I knew as soon as I saw the dalek on the doorstep that I was going to like it!! We had everything we needed, it was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the eclectic décor. It was our first trip to HB and we were very impressed. Beautifully situated, lovely independent shops , fabulous places to eat and a gem of a cinema. I'm sure we'll be back and The Mill will certainly be our choice of place to stay.

We absolutely loved our stay in No 1, we were sad to leave in the end, it is amazingly well located and such a great contemporary living space. We thought we would like it but we really were completely taken by it. Hebden Bridge was a great place to explore from such a handy spot too. The tips on the guide you provided were really useful and we enjoyed our stay so much that we would like to return as soon as we can...

Our weekend was lovely, weather was great! I hope to return one day and I've already recommended your place to friends and family. Such a lovely conversion and so comfortable, made a big difference to our stay. We hiked in the Peak District on the Saturday for 7 hours around Ladybower reservoir and the surrounding area. Sunday, we cycled the Dales (mostly uphill) from Settle, around 30km. Our legs and bums are still suffering but totally worth it. Stunning country that area. Friday and Monday we spent some time checking out Hebden Bridge, such a cute place.

Many thanks for everything.
