You can get your free week when you book a week in No1 in 2016 or 2017. The stone built cottage is in the central Beira Region, fully equipped. Charges do apply for firewood and a gas bottle but the place is yours, for nowt. Second weeks available for £150/week or for a reduced price for anyone who may wish to volunteer 4 hours per day on the olive farm
Conditions
1 If planning to volunteer payment for the week is taken in advance and refunded daily on satisfactory performance (laying in bed is not work but you may just want to, it's your choice).
2 The week in No1 may be taken before or after your trip to Portugal and must be paid for in advance of either trip, the first trip / visit will be regarded as your paid week, and the second week as free of charge, subsequent cancellation of your second week will not trigger any refund.

Specification Upgrade (March 2015)
Our Gas Safety Certificate has been renewed until March 2017. We now have a lovely new Hotpoint washing machine that is A+++ rated, serviced the fridge which we noticed wasn't as cold as it should be, and have some lovely new bedding, new stainless steel cookware, more low energy lighting, a furry throw for the settee, a huge new mirror, and some more DVDs too, so we have even more movies for all tastes with DVD players and HDTVs in the living room and the bedroom, there really is no need to go outside, at least not when it is raining.

Unlimited Broadband (Nov 2014)
We have taken an unlimited broadband package with Plusnet, the Yorkshire internet people, which offers unlimited downloads and high speeds over a wired or wireless router, this is working now with a download speed of 12.77MB/s at 6pm (the busiest time).
Shop around, we are now on Airbnb and TripAdvisor and sometimes prices on these sites are lower on one site or the other, if they are you can always ask me for a deal booking direct or book through them
